FCE’s San Antonio claims and eligibility operations center provides an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) fax system which enables medical, dental and vision providers to receive hard-copy fax transmissions of eligibility and benefit data for patient members and their dependents. This hard copy format eliminates the miscommunications that occasionally arise from live telephonic dialogue for coverage verification.
