Wellness Program Assistant

San Antonio, TX

Position Summary:

United Workers Wellness Company is looking to onboard a Wellness Program Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in health education, healthcare, and/or benefits administration. As the Wellness Program Assistant, you will work directly with the Director of Wellness, providing support around our various wellness products and services including an Employee Assistance Program and Telemedicine Program.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Director of Wellness, providing support and collaboration on projects
  • Provide administrative support including general clerical tasks and managing correspondence
  • Assist with reporting, compiling data, filing, and developing report summaries
  • Manage calendars and meeting coordination including preparing meeting materials
  • Assist with the implementation of our telemedicine program
  • Assist with the enrollment and onboarding of new clients
  • Manage eligibility files for our various wellness services
  • Assist with compiling utilization reports for clients
  • Manage monthly enrollment adjustments and invoicing
  • Provide assistance with program marketing and outreach
  • Manage shared drive and document retention
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 4+ years of administrative support experience with increasing responsibility
  • Solid attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience in health education or healthcare environment is preferred
