Business Development Executive, Davis Bacon Act

Position Summary:

Due to our continuing and steady growth, we are seeking an Account Executive for our Account Management Team. As an Account Executive you will service some of FCE’s largest and most complex clients

As Business Development Executive you will seek and develop client relationships with FCE Benefit clients, forge relationships with Brokers/Consultants and to provide strong experience and expertise to these companies.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary point of contact between FCE and prospective or new clients
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with existing clients, carriers and vendors
  • Employ client retention strategies that foster client satisfaction and loyalty
  • Understand and communicate service level agreements/expectations to the client and internal departments
  • Understand and communicate the products and services sold to the client
  • Ability to travel at 40-50% to facilitate client visits and business meetings
  • Work effectively with internal departments to support client goals and initiatives
  • Assist with the Plan Implementation process and work with the Implementation team to prepare for the client onboarding
  • Stay abreast of industry standards, legislation, insurance product changes, and ongoing trends
  • Attend to administrative details to be fully compliant with government regulations
  • Monitors client’s claims to assure consistency with goals and offer full-service administration


  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in benefits administration/consulting or insurance industry on the carrier side
  • Enthusiastic self-starter who can work independently and self-motivate
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office® applications

Desired Experience:

  • A background that includes legal compliance, benefit administration, and labor/employee relations is strongly preferred
  • Current Life and Accident/Health License is strongly preferred
  • Brokerage experience is highly desirable


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Human Resources, or combination of equivalent education/experience.
