Application Developer

San Antonio, TX

Position Summary:

We currently have an opportunity for an Application Developer for our Technology Division.

Essential Responsibilities:

Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
Create and modify C# code using MVC patterns and .NET Core
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Create and maintain software documentation and test cases
Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
Stay informed of emerging technologies and industry trends, bringing that knowledge into operations and activities

Position Requirements:

Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of C#, MVC, .NET Core, Bootstrap, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, JSON and SQL
3 -5 years of software development using C# .NET, MVC
Experience integrating third-party APIs with SSO / OAuth protocols
Ability to write LINQ queries and experience in Entity Framework
Proficient in applying object-oriented principles and practices
A solid understanding of web application architecture including security, session management, and best practices in development
Must have experience developing both internal and public-facing web applications with Microsoft IIS
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Accredited degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred
Experience working in a coordinated team environment utilizing CI/CD processes
Proficient in requirements analysis and business information flow design
