Application Developer

Position Summary:

We currently have an opportunity for an Application Developer for our Technology Division.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
  • Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
  • Create and modify C# code using MVC patterns and .NET Core
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
  • Create and maintain software documentation and test cases
  • Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
  • Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
  • Stay informed of emerging technologies and industry trends, bringing that knowledge into operations and activities

Position Requirements:

  • Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of C#, MVC, .NET Core, Bootstrap, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, JSON and SQL
  • 3 -5 years of software development using C# .NET, MVC
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs with SSO / OAuth protocols
  • Ability to write LINQ queries and experience in Entity Framework
  • Proficient in applying object-oriented principles and practices
  • A solid understanding of web application architecture including security, session management, and best practices in development
  • Must have experience developing both internal and public-facing web applications with Microsoft IIS
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Accredited degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred
  • Experience working in a coordinated team environment utilizing CI/CD processes
  • Proficient in requirements analysis and business information flow design
